I’m a fan of Nick Diaz. Hope he returns to the UFC. As for the video, wish someone could cut out the first two minutes of standing around and just get down to the beating.

Another fan who just wants to see blood and violence. Lol, I was hoping the beating would be worse, he kinda skates through. This is interesting to me because we constantly hear, “Fighter so and so has a BB in JJ.”. Well, we all know what an animal ND is on the ground, and to think he JUST earned his after 6-7 years training goes to show some BBs mean a lot more than others.
Hey I just got my Black Belt In BJJ, everyone gather ’round and beat the hell outta me now. C’mon guys it’ll be fun!
I have a brown belt in my closet.
I got a leather BB made by an inmate. Thats the closest I ever got. Anyways Nick Diaz is a fighter, and he makes for exciting fights. He is still very young and has tremendous talent. Talks alot of shit but fights impresively when it comes down. The Gomi fight will always be great on that Resume. He has also fought the whose who in the UFC. He deserves to still be around
That was one of the coolest vidoes on here. I love the gauntlet style cerimony. I also aggree with MTUFC, that there are BB in JJ that don’t mean as much as say Diaz who is a true BB in JJ.

again I aggree with you MTUFC, someone who just wants blood and violence.
As for Diaz, he is by far one of my favorite fighters, and if take downs did not mean so much in the UFC then he would have won allot of bouts. Take downs “can” be over rated in that if they did not do anything with the take down then it is useless, and in Diaz’s case he has an amazing gaurd and that goes unnoticed in the UFC when it comes to score cards.
My favorite fight within the last couple of years has been the Diaz vs Sanchez fights, that “was like two lizards” (Joe Rogan) going at it in the ring.
I am a submission fan myself when it comes to the fights.
i’ve always like nick diaz, he’s an exciting fighter and always puts on a show win or lose, congrats on the black belt you deserve it i’m sure, i hope to see him back in the ufc one day, is his suspension going to be up in time for him to compete in the grand prix? does anyone know? i hope so, i think he could be a contender…
I like him and his brother, no one can argue they back up their mouths with their fists…
Nick has been one of my favorite fighters since I learned about him. And your dead right, wildbill, they dont talk shit and walk away. They talk then swing and roll. No bullshit with either of them. Props Nick and Congrats.
If i was UFC i wouldn’t have let him go, i cant think of any of his fight boring. I’m pretty sure in all of his wins in the UFC he’s finished them all before the final bell.
Ko’d Joe Riggs? I’m pretty sure Diesel beat im via descision buddy.
If your talking about the after fight conflict at teh hospital, Diaz SUCKER punched him in the face, Riggs fell to his knees, only to get up, tackle Diaz, and by the time the police went to break them up RIggs was kneeing im in the head.
The NSAC has declared the fight a “No Contest” and has suspended him for 6 months with a fine of 20% of his earnings ($3,000) won from the fight against Gomi. The Commission felt that the result of Diaz’s THC test, an enormous 175, was a contributing factor in his performance during the fight.
Alamo went on to say, “Mr. Diaz was 175. This creates a unique situation. I was there at this fight and believe that you were intoxicated and… that it made you numb to the pain.
Does anyone else think this is completly rediculous? Nick Diaz still has a win over Gomi in my mind, and I think in the mind of most.

I was talking about the fight at the hospital. But I read a totally diffrent story. Is what you are saying true.
According to Wikapedia, which is an unbiased site, I tend to go with the unbiased sites.
Man, Anomaly, Wikipedia has to be taken with a grain of salt at times. And if something is controversial, then you can almost be gaurenteed its total bullshit, I mean, anyone can edit the articles. I once read that the Dalia Lama was praying for George Bush’s death, and all this other crap. Take it with a grain of salt man.
i like nick alot also, but ican see why the ufc let him go. he lost to diego, sherk, karo, riggs, there was no where left for him to go in the ufc. but he is young and with a win over gomi probably deserves another shot. i’d like to see a rematch w/diaz maybee at 74. i read somewhere that it was going to be in albaq, new mexico. sorry cant spell to good.

Oh yeah well then what other sources would you suggest? Diaz’a site? haha. Like I said there are probably not a lot of internet sources out there that are gonna give you anything close to the real story anyway. So it was a “lesser of the two evils” kind of thing.
Man, another post with a link in it has vanished. I posted to you about the Riggs thing and that the info on Wikipedia came from Riggs himseld in an interview. I dont know why these posts keep vanishing. Mania, any help?
MA I love the Video MTUFC. As for the post Riggs fight, I love the shit out of that. Nick thought he won that fight, and I am going to re watch it tonight so that I know who I felt one, but besides the point he stood up for that, and people call them sucker punches, but I call it a wake up for Riggs. If Diaz did this to GSP, I would disrespect him, but he did it to Riggs who is a major shit talker himself.
i personaly beleive nick to be the real champ idont agree with the judges decisions on his recent so called loses i cant wait for a rematch between him and di san there is no doubt in my mind youll destroy him
lol Nick stands no chance fighting Diego Sanchez. Diego beat totaly won the fight dude get over it. Now as far as this video go’s whats the big deal so he went through the gauntlet. wow big deal. i take karate and i go through the gauntlet every birthday. its nothing spacial. i don’t even know why you guys where talking about it. or for the matter of fact why I’m talking about it.
I wonder if he did Ceasar’s mail order course to get his Black belt… I know that sounds stupid but Ceasar actually gives black belts through a mail order jiu-jitsu course. … so bogus!
