Tickets for UFC 73: “Stacked” go on sale for the general public next weekend, Saturday, May 12 at 11 a.m. EST, according to UFC.com.

Here’s the monster line up so far:

  • UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva vs. Nathan Marquardt
  • UFC Lightweight Champion Sean Sherk vs. Hermes Franca
  • Tito Ortiz vs. Rashad Evans
  • Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira vs. Heath Herring

As usual, UFC Fight Club members will have the first crack at purchasing tickets on Tuesday, May 8, at 7 a.m. EST. Two days later on Thursday, May 10, UFC newsletter subscribers can purchase tickets during another ticket presale.

We’ll post more details — such as presale passwords — in the next few days.

UFC 73: “Stacked” will take place at the Arco Arena in Sacramento, California, on July 7. According to the release, the last UFC event held at the venue took place on November 18, 2006, to a sellout crowd of more than 15,300 with a gate of $2.7 million.

Now, that is what I call a card right there, this is looking better than the UFC 68: The Uprising Card.
Dana said they were going to make it the most stacked card ever possibly so they should throw Jason Lambert vs. Matt Hamill, Diego Sanchez vs. Drew Fickett something like that would be hands down the Perfect card to tag along with the already great fights!

Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira vs. Heath Herring

I thought Nog was supposed to fight some other stiff? Herring is being put on the griddle and doused in Texas Ass Burner sauce for Nog’s dinner. Herring turned out to be a bust and he’s gone unless he lands ‘the headshot’.
