While they all pretty much look the same I still dig the setup.
70 looked like a freaking stacked card, and wasnt bad, but hardly lived up to the hype. This card is totally f$cking awesome if you know who all the fighters are. I, again, just hope it lives up to the hype. Only problem is, its the UFC. Most of the great fights arent even being show on TV. AT least the 2 headline fights should make it worth the $40 ( or just mail in Poopie’s autograph ).
I’m not excited about chuck vs page for some strange reason. The more i think about it I realize that this could be some of the best competition for chuck since the randy fights.
rampage matches up well with lidell. he can take a punch without freaking out unlike tito. i like rampage’s chances against chuck. chuck is amazing but i feel like over the next few years we will see him fight shogun, hendo, etc. , and this will cement his legacy.
note to chuck: stay away from fedor!!
yeah right..f’k…This fight is a perfect match-up for Chuckster. Chuck has not gone toe to toe, stand up style since Vitor, and that fight he won by just one punch, even though it went the distance. Don’t get me wrong, Chuck’s the man, and i’m sure he will prevail. But consider the fact Page can baang with Chuck, and even eat a few to give a few. Someone in this bout is going out. I hope Chuck does, but i’m ready if Page wins, i’m betting 50 bones on Page…lol…Hope Chuck ko’s if he wins
..See ya..
P.S. UFC 71 site is very good. One of the better site’s UFC has come up with….pce-0ut
so this picture of chuck looks like he is in the best shape of his life.
I heard Liddell has stepped up his conditioning. The gut might actually be gone for this fight..LOL. This is going to be a great fight regardless of who gets the win. I really hope Rampage trined hard. If he has I’m sure this will be a great fight, and someone will get knocked out or finished TKo style. Looking forward to it!
Ortiz made it to the third because Chuck didnt train as hard. For Babalu he trained his TD over and over. For this one, my guess would be muay thai def and conditioning. This one wont end in the first. Thats just Chuck selling the fight to the nuthuggers who think he cant be beat. He knows better. Rampage can flat out take a punch, and since he wont have to worry about knees and feet while down, he will be standing for awhile. Has Chuck faced a MT guy in the last four years, not really. He better be ready. The knees to the body will be coming.
OK this is totally trivial but if you go to that UFC71 website, when it loads up it shows two animated figures (one labeled Chuck Lidell and one labeled Rampage). Anyway they satnd there facing off until it finishes loading and right at the end the Rampage character kicks the Chuck character in the head. Looks like the Gonzaga kick. So is this a prediction by the UFC?????

Rampage’s head is going to bang with Chuck’s fists.
I would consider myself an iceman fan, but at the same time these fights seem to be ” any given sunday”, hate to be figuring the odds on this one. This one wont end in the first.
I hear ya on that one Morethanufc, i kinda hope not, love to see a wicked fight here. get my money’s worth.

I was thinking the exact same thing!….Not abot the prediction..Just wondering if that was Rampage that lands kick?

I blew that comment off the first time I read it because the silohuettes are just generic animations- but it is interesting they chose THAT sequence. If it wasn’t deliberate they should lie and say it was now.
I wonder if that picture of Chuck has been inhanced in any way because thats an inpressive 6pack.
so this picture of chuck looks like he is in the best shape of his life.
I think they photoshopped Chuck’s head on Randy’s body.
When did Chuck get abs?
Maybe he’s not partying as hard.
There is noway, that can not be Chuck’s mid-section.
Chuck has a body double?
I like Rampage’s chances against Chuck. I hope they both come in the best shape of their careers….if so, this should be a war.
I hope Chuck when he gets beat dosen’t say he had an injury or something like all of his other lose’s.
Chuck just has a bloated stomach, thats his body type. The only other reason that causes a stomach like that is steroids, but Idon’t know.
I’m going to this one… the advertised start time of 7pm PT is the televised (PPV) start time, right? The earlier fights will be from about 5pm PT – is that right?
