I am sorry, but Andy Wang is not “intelligent”. He is just a poser with no substance to his character. Before the fight he talks and acts really tough, and after the fight, he cries like a wuss. If he is considering teaching high school as a back-up career, then he will again fail because who will want to learn from him. He might even get beat up by some of his high school students. Also his career as a “tapei bjj instructor” is all shot to hell after his students finds out what a fraud he really is. That is why he was crying at the end of the fight. He know that people are going to find out that he is a fraud.

This show has got to improve. I have seen everyone since season 1, and I just don’t even care if I miss it after this one.

I think it was a big mistake for BJ to let the fighters pick him instead of him picking the fighters. Poor guy, all his fighters suck. The only guy who has a chance is Joe Lauzon.

A career backup plan even u of Phoenix, involving school is a wise choice.. your right it doesn’t have anything to do w/ intellence or ability, it has to do with getting a job. it shows employers you can stick to something. if your really good start your own business or get into a career that needs other types of qualifications like school but different.

Some ex fighters are lucky and popular enough to stay in the game. Wang got in there and tried his best - lightyears better than i’ve ever done. steppin into the octagon on major TV no less..

This guy let team Penn down for his own selfish delusions. I like how he said that after he got knocked down with that first punch he decided he had to win the fight with a knockout. That shows pure arrogance.

This fight was really bad. Andy Wang needs to learn how to listen. Ive noticed that alot of fighters that go on these huge explanations of fighting (such as his “warrior” speach) tend to lose theyr fights. Just fight, listen to your coach and do what you do best.

This season does kind of suck, I hope it picks up. I do get a kick out of hearing Dana say “this is the best fight we’ve ever had”, I think i’ve heard him say that like 12 times.

There are a lot of UFC fighters who are smart outside of the cage, many who are smarter than Andy Wang. Dana White once stated that about 80 percent of UFC fighters have college degrees.

For example, Chuck Liddell has a degree in accounting. And in the same night as Chuck vs. Babalu 2, an undercard featured a fighter who is also a full-time law student (can’t remember his name, but the UFC commentators made a mention of this). Rich Franklin was a high school math teacher before doing professional MMA. These are tougher career fields than history is.

I really don’t think penn is to blame for his lousy fighers, even though jens is probably gloating, the man has bad luck. I’m looking forward to seeing joe lauzon fight, other than the diaz fight all the others were lame. Oh and the guy who wanted to fight wheens (or whatever the weakest links name is), is a real turd…. what a loser.

Andy wang was at best of the west yesterday. He was acting like he was some type of well liked celebrity. It was funny because he kept talking about the ultimate fighter and as he would turn away people would laugh at him. Poor guy!! He was saying that Dana might call him. With a record of 5-6-0 I highly doubt it.

I really hope Andy Wang reads all of the stuff written about his lack of strategy, focus, performance etc. on the internet and it wakes him up to start getting real.
