If you watch the fight I think Lindland had a good shot at beating him, or at least taking it out of the first round. He cut Fedor in the first real exchange, and then had what would have been a takedown had Fedor not grabbed the ropes. He was told four or five times to let go of the ropes. Lindland had him in the air was about to take him to the ground when Fedor repeatedly grabbed the ropes. A couple of times with his elbows, and then with his hand. It could have been a lot different had that not happened. Give me a cage and a rematch! I think Couture would have a good shot at beating him. He seems to be prone to cuts, as was evidenced in his only loss, which came by ref stoppage at 17 seeconds of the first round due to a cut. I hope to see him fight Barnett, Couture, or someone who can get this guy to the ground with out being first submitted or otherwise crushed…

Talk about a bad card. Two fights; neither of which got out of the first round. Its no wonder Bodog isn’t a top-tier fighting organization. Pride and UFC for now (yes I know Pride is shut down but there are still replays), but there are a lot of other organizations stepping it up right now and I am just plain excited.

Props to Lindland for holding his own against Fedor and also for picking him up so easily. Lindland is very underrated but he’s a dam good fighter…not better then Fedor but still a good fighter.

Silvia, Coutor, AA, and Crocop would all get owned by Fedor.
Big Nog and Gonzaga would give him a run for his money.
Silvia would get A** raped in the octogon against Fedor

did i hurt your feelings by giving the right information or did i just prove that you are an idiot like James THOMPSON : ( i watched a lot of dvd’s ) hahaha. You absolutely have no clue what fighting is about, maybe you should go to the gym and take a few lessons or at least get GLASSES!! Hey guys,

Listen up !!!

Watch the fight a bit better ( Youtube ) and you all will see that fedor did not hold the ropes, there’s even a 4 second version where you can see that he didn’t.

And please stop your fantasies on who’s gonna beat him for once and compliment him more on how good he is !!!

Lindland does rise to the occasion. He’s not really crazy, but old school for sure…back to the days when you fought every challenger regardless of size. That’s just the way it was done and he doesn’t seem to mind doing it today, though the new generation of fighters (and watchers) cringe at the thought. Lindland’s as tough as they come.

he seems to rise to any occasion he is faced with .i wouldnt mind seeing him against this new gonzaga guy or chuck .chucks skills have really evolved since his rampage loss(i really consider him the real ufc champion) and i would have to say he hits a lot harder than fujita and alot more accurate but if fedor can get chuck down he wins easy but i cant see fedor beating him standing up but like i said he seems to rise to any occasion and for sure one of the greats if not the greatest mma fighters of alltime
