It all looks good except for the glaring omission of Karo Parisyan, why that guy gets no respect I'll never understand. " Judo throws are the best..." I give him the nod at #3, maybe 4 but only if you put sanchez @ 3 and only b/c he beat him.

RIP Randy Couture 1895-2007.
MTUFC - What the hell dude? I don't get it. Randy is still the MAN. And, uh, why is he over 100 years old?
I like Randy as a coach, as a commentator, and as a retired fighter. He beat Tim "Poopie Pants" Sylvia who had three discs blown in his back. The nuthugging going on here and everywhere else is ridiculous. It was an amazing accomplishment, my hats off to him. But he's done. He was done when Chuck kicked the shit out of him the second time. Hang em up. I'm not getting on GG's bandwagon just yet, but he sure did look good against Mirko, he has a GREAT TEAM around him, and apparently has rounded his game out. If Randy thinks he has ANY advantage on the ground, he truly is crazy.

The 1895-2007 thing was just a joke about his age. :)
Dude, Randy ain't done. Tim was hurt, but Randy school him in everyaspect. I don't think he is done. It kinda sucks cuz it seems to me that when I fighter is doing good, and everybody loves him, all he has to do is lose one or two and people say how bad or washed up he is. When the opposite is not really true, virtually nobody gave Randy a chance, saying how Tim would smash him. Now he beat him and even the ignorant people who don't take into account teh injury, who suggested it would have been a huge accomplishment ot beat Tim, now act like it was never a big deal in the first place, and "oh of course he beat tim, tim sucks". I think whatever Randy accomplishes won't impress some, and he will always be "over the hump". Whatever the case. We will all find out soon enough.
I just think BJ is better fit for lightweight fighters. He gets too tired during fights at 170 (see him gasing out against Matt Hughes). The fact is he doesnt train in a conventional fashion and it shows when he is 170lb with his little belly. If you look at when he fought at 155lb. against Jens Pulver, he looked shreded and more mobile. Of course he very well may move up to 170 again but I certainly wouldnt advise it.
Dude. Again, you crazy bro? You heard about teh rib thing right? BJ split a rib in the end of the second. Even if he gasses, he wouldnt have gassed that abruptly. You konw how bad a split rib hurts? Breathing is hell. Anyway, he did just fine, punked Hughes like an amatuar the whole time. No sign of gassing. The only time was againnst St. Pierre. And anyboyd that can fight Pierre, create controversy as to who won, and shcool Hughes, is doing just fine at 170 in my book, but thats just me.....

There is a chance Kevin BJ will stick around at light weight if he is offered a title shot after he beats pulver. BUt even if he does and wins it, he is still gonna participate in the WW as well. But most likely the case is he'll just mob straight to the welter weight.
What a dreamer ... suddenly GSP is a 155lb er and is gonna square off against Penn who is now a lightweight
Are you kidding me dude, Penn is very temporarily a 155er, was practically forced just for the TUF 5 show. He is a welter weight fighter buddy, that is just about common knowledge, Penn has said it many times, I thought it was impossible not to konw that.
So like I said, the rematch of the ages in my mind is the Penn/Pierre 2. Just to clear things up Kevin, that's WW, not LW.

Jens was a top 155lb fighter 3-4 years ago and may still well have great skills but I just dont know if he can take out real young guys who are very talented a la Roger Huerta, Hermes Franca, or Joe Stevenson (not in any order). But then again he could, I just think the lay off from the UFC was not a good choice because he missed out on some prime years in terms of his age. It will be very interesting over the next 3 months to see how this division unravels. I for one think it will become the most exciting division behind the welterweight saga going on.

As always Queens finest
GSP is one of my favorite fighter in the whole world. he is the best no matter what people say, he will be one of the greatest champion in mma history. He just got to get his mind right and be in a killer mode when he step in the octagon. HE is a force to be recon with.
I hope so, we will see about that come his return. And hopefully if he does, after all competition is anhilated, we will see the rematch of the century, Penn/Pierre 2
