I couldn’t see the weight ins on my computer, dont know why. I watched it on yahoo last time dont know why it didn’t work, very disappointing, I was waiting for hours to watch it.

I don’t like either fighter, but Diego is smart in what he’s doing. He making Josh so pissed that he will come into the fight all jacked up on emotion and he will make a mistake and it will cost him the fight…ala Melvin Guillard.

Diego is a prick man talk about letting stuff go to your head. It dosen’t make the sport look good when you do stuff like that.

Diego Sanchez continues to show his true colors as fake, insecure, and small minded individual. What happened to all his Chi? Or Chai? Or Cha? Or whatever the middle aged MILF yoga instructors call it. Here we have a guy who openly parades into his matches praying with hands in the air and calling upon his inner peace for all to witness. It has always been my contention that true prayer is done in private, on your knees. Not in front of a TV audience.

Does anyone else find it ironic that this kid shows no self control by pushing an opponent in anger/fear at a weigh in, while at the same time, trying to sell an image of true spirituality and inner peace? To me this is the ultimate front. I hope Josh knocks this guys head out of his a#$. He needs it.

Damn I Like both fighters. They both have great talent. The whole bad blood between them makes the fight the more intresting. I just hope they give us a 3 round battle instead of a 15 second knock out or submission. I just saw the weigh ins and damn that’s probably the first time someone pushes their oppononent.

I agree and that is something I disliked about all Shamrock-Ortiz bouts - every fight had a press conference where those guys called each other out (it showed that both have been in the Pro Wrestling world) and it makes the UFC and MMA altogether look really silly like some 2nd class WWE/WWF or whatever they call themselves.

I agree that it was definitly good sportsmanship and doesn’t reflect to well on diego, but this is a violent sport and if two guys have real problems with each other this stuff will happen. Never really liked koscheck after watching the ultimate figher show but I really hope he hands Diego his ass. What a P***k he is. Why can’t they show the weigh-ins live on spike? I think that they could sell more ppv getting people fired up watching something like that, especially when they are really fired up.

on the blog - I dont really believe a push at weigh-ins is bad for the sports image, maybe diego’s but not MMA in general. If it errupted into a full out brawl then yeah bad for the image…..but I agree with spida - that was all good.

Imagine if Kos did get injured, Diego would be on Dana’s bad side. Diego looked a picture when he was on the scales, it was just a matter of time before he did some crazy shit. I think if sanchez doesn’t ko or submit koscheck, koscheck will win the decision if it goes that far. I just hope koscheck has really worked on his submission defense and is careful when he goes in for the shoot so we get a good 2 to 3 round war. Something tells me sanchez is the one who will be swinging wildly and making mistakes in this fight, I guess we’ll find out tomorrow.

diego was telling kos to take his glasses off - kos was wearing glasses and had an MP3 and diego was getting pissed off because kos wouldnt look him in the eyes and diego just snapped. i reckon it was a good idea from koscheck- just piss the guy off and it worked.

if someone is staring at you thru glasses (esp in that situation) you cant read their eyes- like you cant get a pre fight advantage. thats huge for some fighters (like mike tyson for example) and diego prob felt a little pissed like kos wasnt respecting him.
rashad evans i notice really gets in his opponents face before a fight (lambert and salmon).
just pre fight psychology- helps some people to get an early edge on their opponent.

Hey guys! I dislike both fighters attitudes, but like some of you said thats what makes the sport popular. I think the only reason Diego pushed him is due to he was in front of so many Mexicans. Young Mexicans have pride issues, and I believe that he has an insecurity about how his Mexican fans see him. As far as praying when he gets in the ring, that is gay. I really think Diego is a mad scientist in the ring, but I hate him. I really hope Kos walks in and puts Diego on his back and ground and pounds his face un-tell Diego submits by strikes. It probably will not happen like that, but that would be my perfect fight.

I doubt the Push was planned by anyone but Diego and his camp. Look at Dana’s face when it happened, he looked like he was going to shit his pants. Oh and not that you are completely wrong, in MMA that scenario could happen, but I think your honestly underestimating Kos, and his skills. I think he has improved as much as Diego, do I think it is enough, probably not, but we will see.

Who knows what all went on behind scenes. If I remember correctly Kos on season 1 was an asshole to Leban even after Leben tried to get away from all the trouble, Kos was a prick. All I do know is that Sanchez is an MMA Machine, very good at eveything. Kos is a really good athlete, very good at picking a person up and laying on them. Diego has answers and can reverse any thing Kos will through at him. If Sanchez can reverse any of Diaz’s and Parysians throughs and submissions than reversing wrestling will be a piece cake. As wierd and stupid Sanchez seems, he is an animal. Kos might be able to get a lucky punch on the button but other than that Kos is several levels lower an MMA fighter than most people in his class and even at 155. He should seriously go to Cage Rage or some other organization with lesser compitition.

It looks like “Mr. Spirituality” is running low on spirituality.

It looked to me that kos has a plan up his sleeve. Alot of fighters try and keep focused so they don’t get to caught up in the moment, maybe lose there game plan.

Diego could be angry but its obvious hes scared, scared as hell he didnt stand his ground he backed off and actually pushed himself back farther than kos. Diegeo was my favorite since tuf1 it was great to watch the two fight then. Diego knew it was an accomplishment to beat kos then mainly cause he stopped everytakedown attempt of kos.

I was kind of impressed with diegos smokescreen of all his spirituality bs i thought he was for real, hes becoming such an egomaniac, arrogant,ill mannered and unlikeable.

kos was a dick to leben on tuf1 but leben was the egomaniac then that diego has become. i really dont see how anyone can blame kos for anything he did on tuf1, except the punch he hit diego with when ref seperated them that was cheapshot.

i personally hope they have a close fight but really beat the crap out of each other and i mean visually both with black eyes busted noses, leaving something for both to consider.

I like what Diego did. I haven’t really been a fan of him but he has proven himself to me time and time again. Josh on the other hand is a punk, who thinks he is actually going to win this fight. Diego deserves all the respect he gets. Josh on the other hand has been a loud mouth his entire career. I like the fact that Diego just goes out there and proves himself, and now he has actually jumped out of his shell to do something a little extreme. I dig it, and I hope Josh gets the crap beat out of him.
