Back in 2004, Chris Leben (16-3) knocked out UFC middleweight fighter Mike Swick (10-1) during a World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC) bout, handing the Texas native his first and only loss in his professional mixed martial arts career.
The two later both starred -- albeit in losing roles -- in season one of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF).
On April 7, Swick will step inside the Octagon with Yushin Okami at UFC 69. With a convincing win, it's a fight that could propel him to the top of the division and an eventual showdown with the 185-pound champion.
Leben, on the other hand, has dropped two of his last three fights and needs a win bad over Kalib Starnes at UFC 71 on May 26 to get back in the mix.
Anyway ... just want to pass along old footage of Leben putting his "stamp" on Swick back when their careers were at different heights than today.
Swick has clearly improved. It's amazing what a few years -- and a good camp -- can do for a fighter.
