For the maniacs drinking green beer on their couches this St. Patty’s day, there’s some solid television programming that doesn’t include a lame parade or college basketball.
Starting at 3 p.m., SpikeTV will air a series of previous UFC Ultimate Fight Night events, including:
3pm – UFC Fight Night 6: Diego Sanchez vs. Karo Parisyan.
5 p.m. – UFC Final Conflict: Tito Ortiz vs. Ken Shamrock III
8 p.m. – UFC Fight Night at Miramar: Diego Sanchez vs. Joe Riggs
10 p.m. – UFC Fight Night 8: Rashad Evans vs. Sean Salmon
It’s a nice chunk of action to check in on during the NCAA tournament, especially around 4:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.
At those times, not only will you get to see one of the best fights of 2006 — Sanchez-Parisyan — but you’ll also catch one of the sickest knockouts in recent UFC history — Evans’ destruction of Salmon.
Happy St. Patty’s day all … be safe.

Man i wish they had Spike tv in the uk.
Well, I just got my MMA fill for the next couple of days. Good thing, I’ll be away from my pc and any decent tv from Mon-Fri of next week.
See, I am only furloughed out of prison on the weekends, right UFCMania?:p;)
man everytime i watch evans knock out slamon i get chills it looks like crocop taught him how to kick.
What I really hated about that was the tone in Blowgums voice. He sounded…incredulous…happy…that Salmon was laying there trembling.
