He finished most of his fights and only lost a match that he dominated. Sanchez has one impressive UFC win - against Parisian - and that was a decision. His match against Diaz was kind of a joke. Yeah he got take downs (and punched the floor a bunch of times), but the most damage was done by Diaz's upkicks. Sanchez outweighed Florian (mismatch) and his win against Alessio wasn't close to being a noteworthy win considering everyone thought Alessio won. The win against Riggs looked like luck against a fighter who rarely performs to his abilities. Kos is a way better wrestler than Sanchez and proved to be a better striker. Sanchez definitely belongs in the UFC but he's not the level of athelete that Kos is. Plus he's kind of weird - but of course, he's an outstanding fighter who will be back in the mix soon. I think sanchez mainly has done so well because he has top cardio and is relentless. Also he has a good wrestling base and has man handled most of his past apponents something thats not going to happen in the koscheck rematch. If they were saving him for a title shot he still needs to fight someone between now and then, his last fight was in december and even if they gave him gsp it wouldn't be until june. I think the winner of this fight should fight hughes and then get a tile shot, to prove they are the number one contender.
