I think we all can agree that certain high profile fighters are “fed” other fighters that are considered less talented, IMO its very obvious…to say it doesn’t happen is quite foolish.

I think I’ve heard enough from Bisping to last me the rest of the year…I’m starting to appreciate guys like Cro Cop who don’t make a peep until the fight. Even then you have to pay by the letter.

I think I’ll laugh my ass off if Sinosic somehow beats Bisping. It probably won’t happen, but if it does then I’ll never watch him fight again and will scold UFC because the Ultimate Fighter sucks.

I think we can all admit that some fights are set-ups. Look to Rampage’s and Cro Cop’s first UFC fights. They were basically their intro to UFC rules sparring time. However, the difference between boxing and MMA being that in MMA, on any given night anyone has a chance. Look at Heath Herring’s last fight or better yet, Jason MacDonald vs. Ed Herman.

Lets not forget this guy actually won that TUF because the pick to win that season,Matt Hamill got injured. Someone really needs to pound this guys

Yes Bisping is one cocky SOB, but I dont mind that as long as they are respectful.
But no, UFC fighters are never fed tuneups. Sinosic is coming off wins over Crocop, Fedor, Hughes, Gomi, Silva, Silva, Hendo, Sapp, and my grandmother. Bisping should have a bit of a test in this one.

That is true. Since Bisping is starting off in the UFC they have to stick him in somewhere. But Bisping has more knockout victories than Sinosic, so it’s more likely that Bisping will knock Sinosic out.

Finally someone who knows MMA. Thanks Stevo O. for informing these know-nothing about the power of The Ross. Listen, Ross will probably get his shot against GSP or Silva by the end of the year. Ross hasnt figured which division he wants to dominate first. My guess is he pulls a Hendo and takes 170 first, then steps up and takes out Silva. This is all just how I see it going down, but Ross is definitely the future of the UFC.

Maybe they invented the UK Divsion just for that purpose, so Pointon can dominate it.

The real differance here is Bisping is not a guy who is in line for a title. He was a unknown for the most part 8 months ago. Bisping is a fighter on the rise, why does he need to fight a Evans or Jardine or Ortiz right now? It really doesn’t make sense.

Especially fighting for the UFC in Europe for the first time in many years, this is a very important fight for the UFC and Bisping.

Bisping clearly is a fighter who needs more work. Elvis is a veteran who has a bad record but he is as good as a Schaefer ect.

His point was more in the lines, He and other UFC fighters don’t fight tune ups until they get the big payday’s, meaning you won’t see Bisping fighting junk until he gets his shot!

Forest, Sanchez, Jardine have all had to step up and fight better com petitition, and look it bit the UFC in the ass!
Forest Vs Chuck in May would have been huge 800K in PPV easily! This would have never happened in Boxing unless by accident, everyone new Jardine had a legitamate chance and it was risky.

I mean how can you do this for a living without being super confident in your skills. All though I think the ref may have given the fight to Bisping a little quick and ERic the Red gave him a bunch of ground trouble it was a decent first showing.
Hell look at Ross’s confidence to run through each and every weigh class, at a phenoms pace, to make the first run at total MMA domination. Only the confidence of a Bad Boy Yardie could take on that challenge sccessfully.

AS far as Matt Hughes I think it is crap that He doesn’t have to fight the top seeds in that weight class before getting title shot. He should have to fight the winner of Diego and Koscheck. At least Fight Karo then GSP. Then GSP better be careful. He has taken a lot of time off and wil be even longer before he gets his fight. i hope he is able to get in and stay in shape….
