ufc action figure
Tito Ortiz and girlfriend Jenna Jameson might soon be able to play dolls together.

According to PWInsider.com, Jakks Pacific — a manufacturer and licensee of assorted toys and figures for several brands such as the WWE — wants to acquire the license for Ultimate Fight Championship (UFC) action figures in 2007.

Here’s a snip from the article:

Should Jakks acquire the [UFC] license, it would be the first MMA-themed action figure line, although MMA legends including Dan Severn and Ken Shamrock have had figures released during their WWF tenures.

Makes perfect sense and seems somewhat overdue — unlike the Jenna Jameson Halloween action figures.

She really is … smart?

I hope they come with that old-school “kung-fu grip” so that I can practice my kimura.

That action figure is wrong. Tito has a bigger head proportion than that.

I’d buy a Tim “Lame-iac” Silvia doll and put it at the bottom of my sport bar’s community urinal.

The should make one of Liddell with real punching power and a Tito Bobble-Head getting rocked by Chuck.

I’d also be interested if they had an Evan Tanner (post-Rich Franklin fight) figure swelled up and disfigured with corn-row hair.

if they have a sylvia doll, they should make it where you squeeze his stomach and feeckle matter runs down his leg…and if they are gonna make Evan Tanner they should have his unabomber beard.

no NO no!!!

…they should make a rich franklin doll…that has a button on the back and every time you press it, his nose pops off.

…or a wind up frank trigg doll that taps out.

…or a talking joe rogan doll that over states the obvious and comes with 12 sets of that same black shirt.

i can do this all day…HAHAHAHA

…or sean sherk doll that squirts blood from his face.

NOW THAT’S REALISTIC!!!

How about a Matt Hamill figure with tiny hearing aids

How about a Frank Mir figure that comes with the motorcycle and cast

And Bruce Buffer should not only announce, but referee as well. Or he should fight. He should fight Herb Dean. But then Herb Dean would stop his own fight too early. He would wave himself out of ground and pound punishment from Buffer.

I hope they take this figures seriously. As a collector I hope we can get ‘em as good as the wrestling figures. Not bubble heads or exagerated bodies like the Tito in the picture.

These figures would be awesome, I collect the classic wwe wrestling figures, and had to buy 2 of the Ken Shamrock so that when Tanks figure comes out they can duke it out

I will also be purchasing the Melvin Guillard and Tyrone Biggums 2 pack

do a search on ebay for “UFC figure”. I found a Rampage Jackson, Kevin Randallman, Bob Sapp… awww damn, Wanderlei Silva! I’m bidding on that one.

Crocop is on there, Gomi, Emelianenko, Mark Hunt.

Shoot… forget Wanderlei. It’s up to $103.50.
