In hours, “three [ticket] pricing levels were off the board or close to it” for the first ever UFC event in Houston, Texas, according to Steve Seivert at the Houston Chronicle.

Tickets for the April 7 event at the Toyota Center are going fast, considering that the seats were opened up to the general public just yesterday.

Here’s a snip:

The $450 floor seats are gone. The $50 and $150 lower-level seats are nearly sold out. As of 1 p.m., Central, 6,400 had been sold.

After the smaller-than-expected crowd for the IFL event at Reliant Arena Friday night, I had some concerns that Houston could turn out 18,000 for [UFC 69], but if this morning’s start is any indication, it looks like it’ll be SRO at Toyota.

For the record, the Toyota Center can hold up to 19,000 screaming UFC maniacs. Check out more details about the arena here.

If you plan on attending UFC 69, I wouldn’t wait until the last minute to purchase tickets. However, StubHub.com — a ticket broker – usually has seats available right up until showtime.

But, chances are the cost will be a little more. It’s just an option in case you find yourself ticketless in Texas on April 7.
