According to a clip today in the LA Daily News, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson has been a UFC fan for a “long time” and looks forward to making “millions of dollars” with the organization.

Here’s the entire quote:

“I did get excited when I heard the news. I have been a UFC fan for a long time, and I know my buddy Tito Ortiz has been making millions of dollars with them, and I want to make millions of dollars with them … I have a few things I can do with that money.”

For years, Rampage enjoyed success in Japan, fighting for PRIDE FC. Now, he’s got a two-fight UFC contract and will make his Octagon debut this Saturday, February 3, against Marvin Eastman.

Rampage loves to talk, and it seems as though he’s changed his tune quite a bit since crossing the Pacific.

Check out this super short undated video of Rampage:

It’s probably just Rampage being Rampage. But, I thought it was interesting considering his latest comments.

Funny how a few millions can change things.

It may be the millions but more importantly it’s time. This footage seems to be from back when Rampage was just moving up in Pride some 4 or 5 years ago. Also before he became a born-again based on the way he’s acting.

He’s changed and the UFC has evolved a lot in that time.
