It’s a tough act to follow, but “Inside the UFC” is back again at midnight tonight after Randy Couture (14-8) last week announced his return to the Octagon on the show.

True to its billing, news that Couture would face heavyweight champion Tim Sylvia (23-2) at UFC 68 sent “shockwaves” throughout the mixed martial arts community and beyond.

Tonight, Couture is back on the show but will discuss his role on the upcoming “Pros vs. Joes” program, which also airs on Spike.

According to UFC.com, light heavyweight Rashad Evans (9-0) will finally chat with Joe Rogan about his upcoming fight with Sean Salmon (9-1) at UFC Fight Night 8 on January 25.

The former Ultimate Fighter season two champ was apparently bumped from the program the last two weeks in favor of Quinton Jackson (25-6) and the Couture announcement.

With the fight just a week away, the interview makes more sense now anyway.

And last but not least, we’ll be treated to a “feature” on new UFC Octagon Girl Ali Sonoma.
