Somehow, someway, I’ve never seen the clip below until today.
Heard about, yes. Seen it, no.
It’s one of those things that you talk about and say “I’m gonna check that out on the Internet” but never get around to checking on the Internet.
Man, I was missing out for so long.
Fortunately, I came across this GEM in one of the MMA forums this morning. It’s a segment from “Blind Date” that features UFC Heavyweight Champion Tim Sylvia (23-2).
It aired three weeks after he broke his arm versus Frank Mir at UFC 48 in 2004. I get the feeling that Sylvia might have been a little desperate after losing his most cherished possession – the UFC championship belt.

I kind of felt bad for Sylvia after watching this. I mean, the guy already takes a tremendous amount of abuse from fans and critics.
And on this date some busted red head won’t give him the time of day.
Then I realized that the UFC champion of the world drinks grasshoppers … GRASSHOPPERS!

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF??????????? He brings all this shit on himself with things like this. I cant believe what I just saw. He was trying SOOOOO hard to get laid pounding all those drinks then she tells him he not attractive! HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH
Tim was really broken up over this, he told me during training.
The REAL reason she wasn’t into him is because two drunk MMA fans in the bar kept teasing Tim about the time he took a shit in his shorts, she asked Tim if this were true and the poor guy answered yes.
Sometimes Tim is just too honest for his own good.
Poor Tim “The Maniac” Sylvia… He seemed like such a nice big girlly drink drinking guy. He really put away alot of alcohol for a guy who doesn’t drink. She just couldn’t stop telling him she isn’t sexually attracted to him, but I think he still could have scored with that drunk ho.
I almost feel bad for the guy… All Randy has to do is watch that clip and he will instantly be in the mental position to win! Go Couture!

Tim gets a lot of heat for “being Tim” but I guess that’s why I like him. At least he’s real.
Like I said before, ‘Timid Tim Silvia’. Its bad when you have a busted drunk stripper (bartender) tell you your not good enough. Was that hard to swallow Tim?
This is the funniest shit ive seen in a long time! Trust me i am a strip club fanatic and if you cant pick up a drunk as piss bartender (stripper most bartenders there end up stripping) then you really aint got no game and just as tommy said “timid” Tim Silvia!
I give him credit for being comfortable enough to admit the truth. That said you have to wonder how he acquired that taste in the first place. Doubt it was hanging around any Hells Angels or anything
I’d rather have the UFC Heavyweight Championship belt anyday over that tart.
Man that sucks. but I can’t watch that show even if isn’t with Tim on there. But I like Tim, despite what everyone says. Like Jesse said, the guy is real. So he likes being the champ, if I was the champ I’d tell everyone too. Lay off Tim, he’s a good guy, and a good fighter.
