UFC light heavyweight Wilson Gouveia injured his rib during training and has had to pull out of his fight with Alessio Sakara at UFC 65: “Bad Intentions” on November 18.
His replacement — Drew McFedries – is a talented striker whose only career loss is to UFC veteran Nate Quarry.
(Ever wonder what happened to “The Rock” after getting knocked out cold by former UFC middleweight champion Rich Franklin? Find out right here.)
McFedries is fresh off a first round stoppage of Brian Monahan at Extreme Challenge 71 a little over three weeks ago, so it’s safe to say that he will be ready to go on such short notice.
