UFC 62 Banner

Tomorrow, the Ultimate Fighting Championship® will feature UFC 62: “Liddell vs. Sobral” at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In case you’re brain dead, or have been living in Minsk for the last few months, here is the rest of the card:

-Griffin-Bonnar II
-Josh Neer vs. Nick Diaz
-Wes Combs vs. Wilson Gouveia
-Cory Walmsley vs. David Heath
-Alan Belcher vs. Yushin Okami
-Cheick Kongo vs. Christian Wellisch
-Rob Macdonald vs. Eric Schafer
-Hermes Franca vs. Jamie Varner

There are definitely some quality fights, but the UFC hasn’t really been doing too much to hype this event. Not quite sure why that is.

Maybe because the UFC feels it got burned by the last pay-per-view event, which was marred by Ortiz-Shamrock-gate, so it decided to pull the reigns back a little bit.

Whatever.

Dave Doyle from FOXSports.com put together some good predictions, letting Josh Gross from Sherdog and Eddie Malone, the UFC correspondent for Ultimate Grappling magazine, also chip in their thoughts and opinions.

Here’s a brief recap:

Liddell vs. Sobral
Josh: Chuck via TKO in round 2
Eddie: Chuck via KO in round 2
Dave: Chuck via TKO in round 4

Griffin vs. Bonnar
Josh: Forrest via unanimous decision
Eddie: Forrest via unanimous decision
Dave: Forrest via decision

Kongo vs. Wellisch
Josh: Christian via TKO in round 3
Eddie: Cheick via KO in round 1
Dave: Cheick via KO in round 2

Franca vs. Varner
Josh: Hermes via TKO in round 1
Eddie: Hermes via KO in round 2
Dave: Hermes via TKO in round 1

Diaz vs. Neer
Josh: Josh via unanimous decision
Eddie: Diaz via submission in round 2
Dave: Diaz via split decision

FOXSports.com also published another article the other day on Chuck Liddell. Not too surprising, considering Chuck has been virtually everywhere lately. But, as usual, it’s a good read.

Also, don’t forget SpikeTV will air “Live and Inside”– the official weigh-ins for UFC 62 – for the first time ever tonight at 10 p.m.

We’ll have the Octagon Odds for you tomorrow.
